The Magic of 555 nanometer

Green Light for Health
The wavelength of 555 nm, in the green spectrum of light, holds special significance for the human organism and psyche. Studies show that this light can enhance mental performance and contribute to relaxation, primarily due to the lowering of cortisol levels.
Door Open for Relaxation
But with Caution
A peek into your grow box during the light phase can be more than just a check-up of your plants. Through the open door, you can enjoy the beneficial green light. However, caution is advised: The open door can also attract unwanted guests. Pests, normally kept out by the filter fleece of your grow box, could infest your plants if the door is left open.
Pollen from male plants in neighboring outdoor grows can also become a hazard with doors open, as they can lead to the pollination of female flowers and thus seed formation.
Fun Facts:
Lumens, the unit on every light bulb, are calibrated to the wavelength of 555 nm because the human eye has the highest sensitivity at this wavelength.
...or rather No-Fun-Fact: Wind can carry cannabis pollen over distances of up to 50 km, significantly increasing the risk of pollination.
Cortisol is also the hormone that gets us going in the morning. That's why you shouldn't drink coffee in the first hour after waking up, as the body gets used to it and produces less cortisol in the morning, developing a kind of dependency.
The wavelengths around 555 nm are used to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
